EV-4014 Quad Digital Receiver Board


The Coryell & Wiprud EV-4014 will accelerate your evaluation of Graychip's GC4014 Quad Receiver Chip and will jump-start your product development. The EV-4014 generates interesting signals right out of the box - just hook up a power supply and spectrum analyzer. You can choose between 32 preprogrammed GC4014 register configurations and select CW or Pseudonoise waveforms by setting dip-switches and pushing the Load button.

The EV-4014 gives you the power to completely and thoroughly test the GC4014 as well. Any computer can control all aspects of GC4014 operation using the high speed RS-232 port. There are many different ways of driving the board with signal data. You can drive the EV-4014 with up to 4 simultaneous, 14 bit, 50 MSPS digital signals, or use the 2 on-board CW or pseudonoise generators, or digitize 2 signals using the built-in 12 bit, 41 MSPS, A/D converters. You can observe the received signals using four built-in 16 bit, 600 KSPS D/A converters. The EV-4014 also interfaces to most DSP chips directly using by using four standard DSP serial ports, a SHARC Port or a TMS320C40 comm port.

Please note that the EV-4114 Quad Digital Transmitter Board is ideal for digitally generating test waveforms for the EV-4014.
